Small Book Press 9-1/2" x 7" (241 x 178mm) Flat Plate Book Press, Laminate Top, Item 221-1

Item # 221-1 is a 9-1/2” wide x 7” deep (241 x 178mm) economical Small Flat Plate Press for pressing flowers, smaller note pads, smaller media pieces, or similar items.  This press is made from double sided Laminate Top Plywood.  A 7” x 7” working area between the posts gives lots of room to flat press these type items.  

Made from ¾” (18.5mm) thick Laminated surface plywood (for strength and rigidity) with melamine edge banding on the sides. The 4” (101mm) long bolts give a total opening height of 2-1/2” (63.5mm), so thick or multiple stacks can be pressed flat at the same time.  Longer or Shorter bolts available - just ask! 

The soft feel oversized knobs can be easily spun down holding everything firmly in place with minimal effort.  Overall nominal dimensions: 9-1/2” wide x 7” deep x 4-1/4” high (top of bolt) (241 x 178 x 108mm).  Two (2) plated 5/16-18 x 4” (Approx. 8mm, 101mm) carriage bolts are inserted in the lower platen.  The top platen is pressed down by using two oversized 2-1/2” (63.5mm) diameter polypropylene knobs with metal thread inserts for extra ease in clamping down tightly.
